Purpose and impact
Purpose
Our social DNA clearly drives us towards our purpose, guiding our decisions and strategies – a purpose we measure by calculating the SROI (Social Return On Investment). Which is why we have become the first Benefit and Common Interest Company (SBIC) in the property sector.
We expand the ways to provide new affordable and social rental housing, creating a scalable and sustainable system over time, becoming a mechanism through which to preserve housing stock in affordable and social rentals.
We work closely with the public administration in public private partnership structures to develop and manage new buildings with sustainability and accessibility criteria in mind. Moreover, we implement public housing policies whilst supporting employment programmes, educational programmes and social services.
With a long-term focus
We protect the availability and affordability of long-term rental housing as a key instrument in the prevention of residential exclusion and social vulnerability.
Impact
We strive to ensure that housing costs do not jeopardise the consumption of other basic needs, including leisure, while continuously improving services, supporting vulnerable groups and promoting research into issues related with housing.
We strive for our activity to generate housing stock that is protected against price fluctuations and, to socially support tenants to have a better quality of life, more economic independence, family growth and access to education, etc.
