Last week, ALAS Vivienda Asequible was present at Habitat de Vanguardia 2026, a leading forum for reflecting on the future of housing from the perspective of innovation, sustainability and public-private collaboration.

Representing ALAS Vivienda Asequible, Alejandra Mora Gallego shared our vision on one of the major structural challenges facing the sector:
making the financial profitability of affordable housing compatible with a real, measurable and sustained social return over time.

The debate once again highlighted that transforming access to housing does not depend solely on new construction or technological solutions.
It also requires innovation in investment models, financing structures and the way we preserve long-term affordability.

We would like to thank AEICE Clúster de Hábitat Eficiente, the Regional Government of Castile and León and SpainNAB for inviting ALAS to this forum and for promoting a necessary dialogue between administrations, industry, investors and social agents.
