ALAS Vivienda Asequible participated in the meeting ‘Towards a housing model with impact’, a conference organised by the Institute for Human Rights and Business and the Green Finance Institute, dedicated to exploring innovative solutions to move towards a more sustainable and affordable housing stock.

Our CEO, Manel Rodríguez, spoke at the round table dedicated to positive impact housing, alongside Josep María Bermejo, Head of Analysis at the ICF; Eduardo Gutiérrez Sanz, Co-Director General of Asociación Provivienda; and moderated by Claudia Gonzalez, Senior Associate at Green Finance Institute Spain.

During his speech, Manel highlighted the role of SBICs (Sociedades de Beneficio e Interés Común, or Common Benefit and Interest Companies) as a key tool for mobilising capital towards the construction and promotion of affordable housing, especially through industrialised financing models.
