ALAS attended the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF), the 5th International Social Housing Festival, organised by Housing Europe, which brought together more than 2,000 delegates at the Dublin Convention Centre from 4 to 6 June 2025.
This is one of the key European meetings on social and affordable housing, featuring 300 oral presentations, seminars, workshops, visits, social and cultural events covering topics such as climate adaptation, homelessness, zero-emission housing, financing and housing for vulnerable groups, including young people, older people and people with disabilities.
Alejandra Mora, founding partner of ALAS Vivienda Asequible, has returned with a suitcase full of ideas, lessons learned and new connections.
After conversations with European policymakers and organisations such as the Centre for Public Enterprise, we return with a clear idea: Europe is moving towards a vision of affordable housing that is permanent, responsibly invested and has a measurable social return. And at ALAS, we want to be an active part of that change.
